Software Update

The software updates are for users with Gestix installed on premises. Entitled to download this update are only users with valid license and annual support contract to date.

Before proceeding make sure you have a backup copy made in the Gestix Admin menu.

Please note that the utilization of these instructions does not imply any free technical assistance.

If you are using Gestix Cloud you don't need to install this type of updates.

How to install the update

Select the type of computer where Gestix is installed on. The instructions will be shown below.

Microsoft Windows
Apple Macintosh
Linux

First, download the installer for Windows and save it temporarily on your computer

  • Update file specifications:
  • Versão: 5.5.02.020
  • Computador: Microsoft Windows
  • Ficheiro: gestix-erp-win32.zip
  • Tamanho: 9.67MB

Open the downloaded file and execute the installation program gestix-5.X.XX-XXX.exe (you may have to uncompress it first)

Choose Repair when asked by the installer. Advance until the installation is finished

Then, open Gestix and reload the page for it to carry on the latest changes: On IE, View menu - Refresh page (F5). Repeat for each computer. Check that the version of Gestix is the latest.

Download the installation package to your Apple computer

gestix-erp.intel.pkg.zip
  • Update file specifications:

  • Filename: gestix-erp.intel.pkg.zip
  • Filesize: 5.59MB

Open the package (unpack when needed)

Follow the instructions given in the installer up to completion.

Then, open Gestix and reload the page for it to carry on the latest changes: Safari's View menu - Page Reload (Cmd + R). Repeat for each computer. Check that the version of Gestix is the latest.

How to check my Gestix version

Gestix version can be found on the top left corner next to logo and your software version.

In the example bellow the installed version is 5.1.3.8
